Straight off the plane from the ISAF conference, Dee Caffari was in London at the Royal Ocean Racing Club to promote the benefits of sponsoring UK sailors in the Vendee Globe.
Dee explains that sponsorship of an IMOCA Open 60 campaign is not just about media value. Companies can also benefit from better internal communications and employee motivation as well as research and development and aligning brand values with those of races like the Vendee Globe.
