Yachtsponsorship.com started out commenting on sponsorship deals and activation techniques in the sport of sailing, but also covered other yacht racing business news including appointments and deals related to venues, apparel, travel and tourism and media.

Yachtracing.biz is built to scale up to allow readers to find the information they are looking for more easily and follow specific parts of the yacht racing business.

No cut and paste blogging

We have a reputation for not pulling punches when it comes to our opinions on the way the sport is run. Unlike an increasingly large number of online news sources, we rarely publish a press-release as written.

  • We reserve the right to ask you to back up the statements you are making with qualitative evidence.
  • This is not the BBC, we are under no obligation to be impartial. On the other hand, if you disagree with our opinion, there is a comments section underneath every story where you are quite welcome to put a contrary point of view.
  • Read the site before you submit stories or add us to your mailing list. We do not care about who came 1st, 2nd or 3rd. We don’t care how strong the wind was or how many tacks there were in the first beat. If you take the time to tailor your release for our audience then you have more chance of getting your story published.
  • As a rule, if your statement includes the phrase “the F1 of sailing” then it will not be published. It’s a meaningless comparison.
