The new Damier Infini Leather Collection For Men, are coincidentally in the colors of the latest America’s Cup challenger – Luna Rossa, who are backed by fashion bag maker, Prada.
For yachties who don’t need a bag with solar iphone charger, the French fashion house are tempting men with leather goods made of “lush”, embossed calfskin.
Available in charcoal, red, and light grey, the Damier Infini collection are perhaps aimed at the America’s Cup Fan who hangs out in Venice or Naples. We’re not saying that the new America’s Cup has no style. It’s just that by focusing on the extreme elements of the event, the intended audience seems to be a long way from the market sought after by the major sponsor. The language used by Louis Vuitton is far removed from the MTV scripts out of ACEA.
